A fascinating insight into the incredible world of fungi.

During the weekend you will have a chance to find, identify, pick and cook some of the 5000 species of fungi that grow in Great Britain.

Apart from the edibles, you will also learn about the various other uses of fungi from medicines to knife sharpening to fire lighting. Also you may come across some of the most deadly fungi such as the ‘Destroying Angel’ and ‘Death Caps’.

We can never guarantee which fungi you will find, but with a vast range of habitants and land that hasn’t been subject to the heavy use of pesticides, we have an ideal location for a varied selection.

The weekend will be spent in a tented camp with log fire and just the wildlife as company!
