Shelter Building Course
Learn how to identify:
- good shelter locations
- what to avoid when picking locations
Identify:
- natural shelters and how to improve them
- construct a shelter and bed from survival bags
- pitch your Basha or Tarp quickly and confidently no matter what the location or weather condition
- construct various shelters from natural materials including natural cordage and different thatching techniques (Learn, to Kennel etc)
- Make a quick simple desert shelter to guard against the heat of the sun
- Make a Jungle Pole Bed
- Make a hammock from para cord.
- A definite hands on weekend with just a bit of theory thrown in. (Unless it snows, then you can dig a hole instead of just talking about it).
Cost £140.00
NB: We provide cooked breakfast on Saturday and Sunday and an evening meal Saturday night, also hot drinks all weekend.
