Bookings and Payment
£40 deposit is required to secure bookings for specific dates. The full course fee must be received by Barking Mad Survival School (herein after referred to as BMSS) at least four weeks prior to course date.
Payment can be made on line or by cheque, made payable to "Barking Mad Survival School".
Health and Safety
Minimum age range for participation is 12 to 17 providing that the person is accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Persons aged 18 or over are not required to be accompanied. All participants must have a reasonable standard of fitness and any existing medical conditions must be notified to us at the time of booking. You are advised to consult your doctor about any conditions before attending any course.
BMSS cannot be held responsible for any injury or illness caused by ongoing medical conditions or poor standard of fitness.
We have full Public Liability Insurance, a copy of which is available on request.
For your own safety, you are requested to heed the advice of your instructor at all times.
Conduct
BMSS use the land for courses with the kind permission of the land owner. You are asked to respect their privacy and that of neighbouring properties. Please take care of fences/gates/livestock, etc..
When leaving the land we have free access to, please keep to public rights of way.
BMSS reserve the right to remove from the course, anyone who is found to be incapable through the use of drugs or alcohol or is acting in a disruptive manner.
Refunds & Cancellations
We reserve the right to cancel or alter dates of courses as necessary, in which case we will strive to reschedule dates or refund monies in fully.
Refunds if you cancel a course will be as follows:
Up to 4 weeks before date Full refund (less administration fee currently £12)
Less than 4 weeks before date No refund but we would be willing to reschedule dates as needed
Gift Vouchers
Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months from purchase date. This period can be extended if necessary for a further six months for a charge of £12 to cover administration cost.
